Can I Merge One Blog Into Another On Same Acct?

Hi there,
I apologize if this topic has been discussed. I did a few searches for the information I was looking for, but all of the replies I found didn’t look like it was the right answer for the question I have.
I have two WordPress.com blogs — valshotz.wordpress.com and lifeonthecouch.wordpress.com. I would like to make lifeonthecouch my only account here at WordPress, and eliminate the valshotz URL completely. I was wondering if I’m able to merge all of the archives at valshotz into lifeonthecouch, and then delete the valshotz blog/URL. Is there a way to do this, and if so, how do I go about it, or am I just gonna have to suck it up and completely delete my valshotz account without being able to merge it into lifeonthecouch? The other answers I’ve found only mention making one account the administrator over the other, but they don’t say anything about whether the new admin’s account can absorb all of the archives so you can completely delete the first blog.
I hope that made sense. Again, I apologize for asking the question if it’s already been addressed. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

The first part of this support document talks about moving one blog over to another: http://support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ . Basically you export the posts and such from the one blog and import them into the other. It will bring over all comments, pages, posts, categories and tags. Links will have to be imported separately as outlined here: http://support.wordpress.com/blogroll/import-export-links/ .
