Can I Migrate/Import my existing website from GoDaddy into WordPress?
My site currently does not have wordpress integrated into it. I am frustrated at the lack of scalability/options that I am experiencing and heard that using WordPress would solve issues, but I really do not want to start new website from scratch.PLEASE HELP….. Thanks…. :)

Good morning :)
Yes, you can move your site. No worries.
What’s the current domain? I’d just like to see the size of the site, and what you have set up. That gives us a better idea of what you need from WordPress.com to be successful. We can also guide you on the best import process for moving the content over.
Your site will scale with out trouble. We do not throttle your server speeds for busy times or traffic growth. Your hosting is included, and doesn’t increase because of site size either. Plus, you’ll have an entire support team to help answer all of your questions.
I’d suggest taking a look at the different plans to see which one will work best for your project and budget. Let me know if you have any questions about those details. Go to https://wordpress.com/plans/ You’ll need one to connect a custom domain.
Of course, you can get started with a free WordPress.com subdomain too. That’s a great way to get familiar with the platform, build your site out, and then connect the domain at the end.
Domains can be connected with 2 different options.
1. map it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
2. transfer it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/Both options are included with the plan fee. Neither is permanent and you can always change later on.
