Can I modify a wordpress.com website for SOE?

WordPress.com SEO is very good and there is no need for any SEO the plugin. If you had two identical sites, one hosted here and one self-hosted using that same plugin, the site hosted here would have better SEO than the self-hosted site. No. It is not necessary either, as Wp.com blogs have built-in SEO. Basically, staff here have already done this job for you. Of course, using keywords properly makes the biggest difference of all to search engine results, and that’s up to you when you create content.

Thanks very much for your responses. One last question, but not SOE. Can I do an automatic redirect from an old page to a new page using my existing platform (wordpress.com)?

From within WP.com. I renamed a key page and want to ensure any links to the old page go to the new page.
