Can I move a post to a page?

    HI,

I am just setting up a new blog. I have a main page where I will be putting new posts, but I also have created several pages with other information. I was wondering if it is possible to make a new post that will go up on the main page and then I can move that post to be under one of the other pages or subpages?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Since your main page is set up to show your blog posts, it will always show all of your posts with the most recent posts first. If you’d like, though, you can also set up other pages as Category Pages that show blog posts in specific categories. That way, you can add posts to a specific category and they’ll automatically show up on the related category page as well as on your main page.

Another option you have is to Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page), and just have category pages to display your blog posts. If you do that, you can add any static content you’d like to your main page, and posts you make will show up on their associated category pages. (That’s not quite the same as the setup you mentioned, but it would allow you to control exactly what appears on your main page and still have your posts appear on other pages on the site.)

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
