Can I move a .wordpress blog to my server?
-
Is it possible for me to take a blog which I’ve already created and move it to a server of my own so it is now: http://servername.com/blogname instead of .wordpress.com?

It’s possible to export the contents of your wordpress.com blog into an xml file and then import it into a wordpress.org installation you can get as a free download from http://wordpress.org on your own server. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/can-i-migrate-my-blog-from-here-to-another-blog-somewhere-else/

You could also keep it here but buy the domain upgrade and name it http://blogname.websitename.com or whatever.

This is what raincoaster is referring to above http://faq.wordpress.com/category/domain-mapping/
