Can I not build my site and take care of the domain when it's finished?

  Hi, we’re trying to move away from our sales page on Wix. We’d like to build our sales page on WordPress, and then move the domain over. But I seem to be directed at every level to deal with the domain first. Is there no way to work around this?

  When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com) that you can use to start building your new site.
