Can I occasionally use affiliate links?

  My blog covers all sorts of technical topics (mostly tutorials, and some reviews) and I was wondering if it’s okay to occasionally post an affiliate link when it is relevant to my posts.

  I’ve read that the occasional link to Amazon.com is okay, but would it be a problem if I occasionally linked to cloudaccess.net using an affiliate link?

  Now I am wondering if it’s okay to use occasional affiliate links to other companies as well? I’d only be using links from their own “program”, and only when it’s strongly related to the topic (I wouldn’t dream of writing a post, just so I could add the link).

  The companies I’d link to are Name.com and Cloudaccess.net because I use their services myself, and I sometimes recommend them in a blog post… and it would just be nice to make a few dollars from doing so ;-)

  I am looking forward to your reply, and if the answer is “no” I respect that – after all, you’re already hosting my blog and keeping it up to date for free! ;-)
