Can I omit Fusion footer from some pages and keep it on others?
-
I am testing out the Fusion theme.
I want to set it up as a website and blog with some photo gallery pages.
I would like to have a footer on some pages, but not all.Is there a way to remove the footer completely on my gallery pages and leave it on the blog page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes if you are good with CSS and have the CSS upgrade. What you have to do is target the individual pages in the CSS with “display:none; ”

CSS are my initials. Other than that I know nothing about it. :)
If I got the upgrade (I will have to see the cost) is it something a beginner can do?

We can’t really answer that because we have no idea how quickly or how slowly you will learn CSS. What we can say is there is no Staff support for learning CSS editing. There are only 2 volunteers who help with it when they can. Thus the upgrade is not recommended to those who do not have a moderate understanding of CSS and HTML and how they work.
WordPress.com has provided CSS resources here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/#css-help
There is also a try before you buy preview function here > Appearance > Edit CSS

It doesn’t look like you can differentiate the pages in that way using CSS on the specified theme I’m afraid.

You can’t do that by doing something like
.page-id-2 #footer, .page-id-6 #footer, etc. {display:none;}
