Can I open the exported blog into a word file?

  Hi Everyone,

  Is there anyway to download the blog and save it in another windows format?

  I don’t want it for another site.

  Hi there!

  There is no built-in way to do that, as the export file is prepared in a machine-readable format so that it can be imported into another site. You can visit every post/page manually and copy-paste the content into a Word file, but it can be time-consuming if you have a ton of posts.

  There are third-party tools that take a WordPress export file and convert them into Word documents. But we’re not familiar with those and can’t really suggest any. You can search on Google to see what the options are.
