Can I opt for word ads if I customize my wordpress.com blog domain to .org?

    I tried out .com domain along with my name but it didn’t worked out. So now I’m planning to upgrade to example.org. Can I opt for wordads in my .org blog? I mean .org generally reffers to some organization right? But since .com domain is reserved i need to go for .org

    In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from and the domain name you desire must be available for purchase.

    If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.

    Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet.     Can I opt for wordads in my .org blog?

    If you mean a WordPress.ORG Install the answer is “no”.
    If you mean can I purchase a domain URL that has .org in it and domain map from a free hosted WordPress.COM blog to it then the answer is yes.
