Can I organize categories in the sidebar?

Is there a way to organize categories in the sidebar, either alphabetically or by topic? It seems to be random, as they don’t even appear chronologically. Thanks!

The Category list is theme dependant. You can try using the Show Hierarchy option within the Category widget to see if that helps. Remember that most themes were designed for WordPress where one can edit them.
