Hey @chrispburke, plans are actually all charged annually here. I speak from firsthand experience that the Business plan is really good! You can upgrade here when you’re ready. I hope that helps you out!

nice site “the bud”- which theme is that?
its a money thing to upgrade- have to wait until next pay check- what do you like most about the buisness plan? -
Thanks! The one you commented on is called Harmonic. I like the Business Plan because it’s really customizable. It gives you lots of options for help, theme selection, tons of storage… if you need it, you’ve got it!

Hi there @chrispburke and @thebud15 – I hope you don’t mind me jumping in, but the Premium upgrade plan now also includes all Premium themes. This used to be a feature available only with the Business plan. The 13GB storage available with the Premium upgrade should last you a very long time provided you resize and optimize your media before uploading them.
The other features available only with the Business plan are unlimited storage, additional SEO tools, the ability to integrate Google Analytics and the ability to completely remove the WordPress.com branding in the theme’s footer.
Unless you really need those features, you might consider starting out with the Premium upgrade plan. If you decide to switch to Business within a couple of months after upgrading to Premium, you’ll only pay the difference between the two.
Whichever way you decide to go, WordPressdotcom has a 30-day refund from date of purchase on everything but custom domain name registrations, which can only be cancelled and refunded within 48-hours after purchase. Here’s more on refunds: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/
Let us know if you have any questions about that.
