Can I pay someone to set this up ?

    I’m having a harder time than I thought setting this up. I started talking to an outside developer to help me but they seem to want me to have something more complicated and I really need… Custom theme self hosted etc. I had a custom wordpress laws it for another business and while it was great I don’t see why I can’t just use the word press.com themes and have it posted and backed up and maintained. I i’m currently using sela but I am flexible and open to other team that would work better for what I’m trying to do, even premium themes but I would prefer someone else to set it up for me then I can add content.

    Racesmart.com is a good example of what I want to do. I need a simple website with a menu, static front page so it looks like a website, and a menu item that is a blog with current posts. I do not want the front page to be a blog but rather a main image title and menu . I do not have a large budget probably around $200 .

    Also, help for setting up the Sela theme can be found here: https://wordpress.com/theme/sela

    I’m not sure what upgrade plan you have but both the Premium and Business plans include all available Premium themes. If you want to look for something other than Sela, you can use filters to find your preferred theme on this page: https://wordpress.com/themes/

    If you wish to get suggestions for appropriate themes, you can add the MODLOOK tag to the Tags section in this thread’s sidebar for Staff assistance.

    I’ve looked through all the themes and chosen Sela. I followed the theme instructions, not simple.
