Can I pay WordPress to not have ads without upgrading?

  We are the Bonsall Education Foundation for Bonsall Elementary in San Diego County. We are a non profit organization that utilizes WordPress.com for our school garden blog. Is there any way to pay to have the ads removed from our blog without having to pay the full $99 per year? We need a simple blog but can’t have the ads that are featured. Is this possible? Thank you!

  No. “No ads” used to be available separately, but now it’s only available through a Premium or Business plan.
