Can I place ads for my own business(es) hosted elsewhere?

Can I advertise my own business on my blog? I have a free WordPress account; I run a handmade jewelry business (with its own site elsewhere), and have items of my own creation for sale on deviantart.com and cafepress.com. I would like to have a section in my sidebar (maybe using a text widget?) called “Support this blogger!” with links to these places where people may buy my stuff. I’m not clear on whether this falls under your definition of “third-party advertising” or not, since it links to other sites, but it’s all me. Please advise.

Oh, and just to be excessively clear about it: these are not paid ads–i.e., I would not get paid for posting the ads, or for users clicking on them. Any revenue would come from people actually buying my products.
