can I place the text widget on the footer?

  Hi!
  I am using the sketch theme at http://dimitrismeletis.com/
  I have a text widget on the sidebar, but I would rather have it placed at the lower part, at the footer
  Is that possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Dimitris,

  Unfortunately, the placement of widgets relies completely on the theme. The Sketch theme only allows widgets in the sidebar as seen here:

  https://wordpress.com/themes/sketch/

  If you need a text widget in the footer, it would be best to look into another theme:

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/search/footer/

  Please read over the theme’s support guide to make sure it has a footer widget area.
