Can I post a PDF newsletter?
-
I already have a blog but am interested in finding a separate place to post a private PDF newsletter for classmates. Is it possible to do that through WordPress?
Thanks.

For the PDFs if you want to embed the document itself into a post or page, you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs. Otherwise, the documents will appear as a download link.

You can create separate blog that’s only for this purpose. See here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/10/07/wordpress-com-newsletter-subscriptions/

Some file sharing services like Dropbox and Google something let you set privacy settings for individual folders, you could put the PDF file on one of those services and only allow your classmates access.
@TT’s suggestion for a Private blog also works

You be welcome @TT
Sometimes many ways to do the same things – the advantage to most file sharing services is many don’t need a special account as I remember, I have a shared folder with a friend for some stuff and they did not need anything special as I remember when I set up their access.

I’m laughing because I have one too but have yet had the time to figure out how to use it. :D
