Can I post a short preview on my homepage instead of the full text of each post?

    Hi everyone,

    I blog with the Coraline theme at postcardjunky.wordpress.com. My homepage looks very unruly, since I tend to write long posts which one then needs to scroll through to get from one post to the next. I’m hoping there’s a way to include just a short preview of each post on the home page (i.e., the title, the first paragraph, and then a little “Click here to read more” link that will send readers to the full text on a separate page). Is that something I can do with Coraline? It would really help my homepage to feel less cluttered and more user-friendly. I’d really, really appreciate some help. Thanks!

    Some themes only show snippets of posts. You’ll have to experiment with them to find the one you like best.
