Can I post donation button?

HI root . The instructions say to paste it on your website or web progra. so I post it as a blog in text. But I think that posts ok. but you said hit the coded button again and that is in Pappal I saw a page with the buttons on ot should I get the button code from there?
I spent hours on this yesterday as well. so I post it in my wordpress blog correct? -
The button “image” will not automatically appear. You need to upload one as mentioned in step #12

Hi Root I worked all day still no button.I go and copy from wp help . button code. I paste the code in text, then I switch to visual one time it was there. Usually there is the text only. but then I have to leave page to get paypal code to attach to button that is not there.?

I love your persistance and appreciate this. I took blogging 1o1 because you are good teachers but I want a button. My birthday is on the 13th , 66 yrs old and I want this button . Artists have the job of poverty. but now I can be a famous blogger Don Charisma. ythank you.

I just took a look at https://barbaragreenemannandlucy.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=267&action=edit and the code doesn’t seem to be correct.
Please make sure that you carefully follow the instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal and end up with a URL as described in step 9. You can give me this URL and I’ll generate the correct code for your donate page.
