Can I post it today?

    So, I made a post last night and it went up at midnight because that’s when I finished it. I just finished another post this afternoon and when I did so it said it was delayed until tomorrow. I didn’t want to wait so I tried to change the date and time to now and I got this message,’? If you change the date, existing links to your post will stop working.’

    I have my account linked to my fb and Insta so does that mean I will have to repost those links if I try to do this? I’m not sure I understand.

    When a blog post is published it has a permalink structure like: example.wordpress.com/2017/05/04/post-title-slug/

    Notice the date structure “/2017/05/04/” in the middle of the link. If you change your posts dates this link will be updated with the new published date and hence this old link example.com/2017/05/04/post-title-slug/ wont work.

    So if you change the date, you will have to share the link again on your social channels like facebook, insta etc.
