Can I post “posts” underneath a “page”?

How can I post a “post” underneath a “page?” Isn’t there some way you can change the hierarchy of pages and posts? I can’t seem to find this info…

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t convert pages into posts; they are very different things and you’d have to copy/paste. There’s a thread in the support docs explaining the difference. You can, of course, make a link to any post and put it on any page, but there’s one place all the blog posts come up; other than that, there are the category pages, which are created dynamically every time somoene clicks a category. But static pages never function as these dynamic pages.

Dynamic content belongs in Posts (your blog). Static content belongs in Pages (like an “About” Page).

If you want “pages” of your dynamic content, use Categories and the Category Widget or Category Cloud Widget in your sidebar. When someone clicks on the Category, a page of that content is created on-the-fly, as rain said.

Search engines prefer dynamic content. Also if your readers subscribe via RSS, they’ll get all the new info, because the RSS feed only reflects dynamic content.
