  Can I prevent the author name from appearing on posts & pages?

  If you go to the dashboard and choose the users options on the right and then the Your Profile option you can put a nick name in the nickname box. Save the changes with the button at the bottom of the page then go back up to the drop down box that says Display name publically as: and choose that nickname. You could just put …. or something for the nickname I think. Its one possibility.

  Switch themes. Some don’t display the name of the person who posted them, I believe. Check in the Preview to see which ones, though.

  You may have to chose a different theme.
