Can I publish a post and not have it sent to my email followers?

  I would like to publish a post, but when I publish it I don’t want it to go to my email followers. I would just like it to appear on my blog, so people can find it — but I am starting to worry that I am sending too many emails. I think my followers would just like one email per week. Is it possible to do this?

  Hi Ann,

  It’s not possible to control it on your end, but each of your followers can choose whether they prefer to receive your posts by individual emails, in a daily or weekly digest, or only in the WordPress.com reader.
