Can I put adverts on my blog after acquiring my own domain?

  I would like to upgrade to your custom domain offering but before I do that I would like to know if your policies allow me to post advertisements on my blog there after?

  If you want to run ads on your blog, you might be interested in a self-hosted installation of WordPress.org – this is the same software that WordPress.com is based on. If you install and host it yourself, there will be no restrictions on advertising. However, installing and running a self-hosted blog is much more involved then using WordPress.com.
