Can I put posts into a project?

  Hello,

  I’m a little/a lot unclear about how “projects” work in a portfolio layout. My blog is a writing one and I like the portfolio layout – I’d like to have different projects labelled “poetry”, “prose”, “interviews” etc. Is it possible to click on these and be led to all poetry posts? Is there a way I can put posts into a project?

  In case you haven’t read the support doc for portfolios/projects already, I recommend you do so: https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/

  I haven’t done much testing on this but you can add posts to a project using the Display Posts Shortcode. You could create a Poetry project and add this short code to it: [display-posts category="poetry"] and every post with the category of poetry would be listed. There are other arguments with the shortcode that can be used to do things like include_excerpt and image_size.
