Can I re-post a post so it will appear in topics listings?
-
Aah – I’m such a newbie! My blog post didn’t show up in the topics listings for the first time (out of the 12 posts I’ve done so far). Ironically it’s the first post I’ve done that I -really- wanted a response to! I looked at the help pages and realised that this was probably because, although I’d read 5-15 tags was recommended, I’ve only recently started using categories and didn’t realise they were included in this total, so was over 15. I’ve edited it so there are less than 15 categories and tags in total – but is there anyway I can re-post it so it would appear in yoga searches and I might get some advice from other yoga bloggers? Many thanks.

After removing excessive categories and Tags it takes several days before your posts will appear on the WordPress.com Topic pages. It’s the major search engines like Google and Bing that send significant flow of traffic to blogs. That’s why it make absolutely no sense at all to break any URL which may be indexed and appearing in Google and Bing SERPs (search engine page results) for the purpose of appearing on the Topic pages at WordPress.com. Thank you; that and the link to your blog is really helpful. Have followed it and will revisit the archives next week to learn more!

You’re welcome. I find it difficult not to scream — don’t break any links! It’s good to have you as a follower.
