Can I recover a deleted page?
-
I’ve searched, but can’t find the answer: can I recover a page that I deleted by mistake? I was uploading some documents to my page, and wanted to delete one I wasn’t using. Not quite thinking, I hit “delete this page.” Oh, no! Undo! Is there any way to recover the page?
FYI, the blog is pausdpowerup.wordpress.com , the page was “Resources.”
Thanks!

There is no way to recover a deleted post or page.
You can try a google search or another search engine to see if it is cached.

Nope, checked and it hasn’t been cached recently. Bummer. I’m surprised there wasn’t an “are you sure?” message, maybe something to suggest to the management. Thanks for the prompt reply.

Totally disgraceful. I just lost about 8 hours work.
How can this be allowed to happen, without warning, without anyway to recover. WORDPRESS STINKS!!!!! I am heading by to Blogger! See you there!

The best way is to use an offline editor.
This happened to me yesterday. I thought I was deleting a comment, but instead clicked delete on the post.
Luckily, I used an offline editor and just reposted it back. There’s a few guys here with a list of good offline editors that might follow up and post the list soon or just search for editors here in the forums.

Offline Blog Editors are lifesavers in situations like these. If you use one you will always have a back-up copy of every post you make.
