can i redirect a url to a wordpress page

  I am looking to registering a URL related to my site. Would it be possible/ legal to redirect it to one of my blog pages? Even one ending in .org? Thanks.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  To clarify: you want to map a domain you won (xxxxx.org) to your WordPress.com site in the same manner you’ve mapped livingwithecigs.com. Is that correct?

  Or, did you want a domain redirect on your .org domain that forwarded all visitors to your WordPress.com site?

  Either one is doable. I just need to understand exactly what you want in order to help further!

  I’m thinking of registering a .org domain name. I would like to have anyone who types it in to have it redirected to a page on my WordPress blog. Is that possible, and, if so, how? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi there!

  I you want the domain to be redirected to a specific page, you can ask your new domain registrar if you can do a site redirect to a specific page on a WordPress.com site. However, when they do that, the .ORG address will not appear in your visitor’s address bar. For instance, one of your visitors might type livingwithecigs.org into their address bar, and they will be redirected to a page like http://livingwithecigs.com/vaping-101/. The http://livingwithecigs.com/vaping-101/ will now display in their address bar.

  Unfortunately, with a site redirect, there’s no way to still have the .ORG name appear in the address bar.
