Can I redirect my old blog URL to the new one after I've changed to the new one?

  I recently changed my blog URL from https://xangles.wordpress.com to https://crossedyarns.wordpress.com. When I search for the previous URL I get the WordPress message that it is no longer available. Is it too late to purchase a site redirect upgrade?

  Yes, if you want to purchase the Site Redirect, you need to keep your original blog URL. Since you selected the option to discard that address when changing your blog URL, I’m afraid it’s not possible to use the redirect:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
