Can I redo my site over time, while still keeping the current one live?

  I currently have a wordpress site and a wix site, as well as a domain. I would like to merge the content I have on wix to wordpress, upgrade my account, and remap the domain to wordpress. I would not however like anything to be down in the process. It will take me a few weeks to reorganize and design to my liking. Is it possible to do this in a draft form, while my current WP page remains live? Thanks for your help!

  What I suggest you to do here is to create a blog with a random domain name: https://wordpress.com/start

  If you don’t want anyone to see it, make it private: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  When you’re happy with the design and reorganization, you can map your real domain name: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  And finally set the primary domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#setting-the-primary-domain

  Well, it truly depends on the size of your blog. If there are 25 posts, I strongly advise you to do it manually.
  Otherwise, you have to import your content, converting it into one of the accepted format. Please refer to the following support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
