Can I reenable a blog address that I deleted?
-
There is a NNN.wordpress.com address that I would very much like to use. When I try to create it, I get the message that it already exists. When I access the address, it just says that it’s no longer available.
I think that I might have actually created and then deleted a blog at this address a few months ago. Is there a way for me to make this address work again?

Short answer: No.

When you go to delete a site, there are very clear warnings (even highlighted in bright yellow) about the fact that this is permanent and that the URL will be gone forever and you even have to click a checkbox stating that you understand it is permanent. Those warnings are repeated in the confirmation email that is sent to you.

Ok, thanks for the replies! I guess it must have been someone else who created and deleted that address, then.
