Can I Remove “Posted Date” from Post Titles on Homepage

  Hi,

  I am testing the Bushwick theme for possible use as a website for my quilt guild.

  I would like to know if there is a mechanism that would allow me to remove the data that appears immediately below the post titles on the homepage, such as “Posted 5 hours ago” and “Posted Dec 4.”

  I have been able to hide this data in other themes.

  I only want the post titles showing on the homepage.

  (Alternatively, can I get the titles of Portfolio pages to show up on the homepage instead of Post titles?)

  The site is private right now, while I experiment. But I can take it public briefly, if you need to see it. But it basically looks just like the homepage in the theme demo.

  Hi there,

  You can achieve this by disabling the post details. Please go to My Sites → Customize → Content Options and uncheck the things you don’t want to display in your post.

  Thank you both for your reply. Your suggestion worked for the Bushwick theme.

  But now I am experimenting with the Toujour theme, and I cannot find Content Options in the Customize area. Is there some trick to removing “Published on …” info?

  I don’t want any dates showing, and they now appear on posts in the slider, in the three most recent posts below the slide and in blog posts on the Home Page.

  Hi @cathymiranker, some themes have “content options” and others don’t. But in most cases if your plan for that site supports CSS, we can help you remove a few things that way. Once you’ve settled on a theme, if you need help tweaking the CSS, just let us know.

  Your site is private, but you can do it with css easily if your plan allows you to add it.
