Can I remove the ads from my blog site?

I have a blog used for High school students and was hoping that I could get the ads removed from my site? Sometimes the ads show material that I would rather not have my kids see. I am not offended by the ads but would rather not have my kids see girls in bikini’s and stuff if at all possible. Can you help?

There is a No Ads Upgrade:
It only works for ads inserted under authority of WP and I’m not sure the ones you’re describing are.
