Can I remove the “Posted by” in the title ?

  I am new to WP. I am using the Ocean mist theme. Since i am the only poster I was wondering if I can remove the Posted by part in the title of individual posts to give some more space to the actual title of the post. Or may be I can change the title layout to two lines or something ? Do I need to buy an Custom upgrade for me to be able to do that?

  The author display is built into the theme. As such, there is no way to actually remove the by-line, as you do not have access to the theme’s core files. I’m sure some users have managed to hide it with CSS (by setting the text color of the by-line to the background of the page), but this is not a true fix, as the line will remain.
