Can I rename my website?
-
Not really a problem as such, but I would like to change my website address to match the title shown at the top of the website page. Is this a question of changing my user name?
http://www.davajam.wordpress.com would become http://www.brush&pen.wordpress.com.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://brushandpen.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.Your can log out, register the username account https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/brushandpen under and different email address but the matching blog URL cannot be registered.
You cannot register any deleted blog URL as they are not recycled here. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/Your cannot register a URL with any special characters like and ampersand &.
The “www” URLs simply seamlessly redirect to the same content under the URL without the “www”. www is an old protocol from back when everything was under separate server hardware. www (www.example.com) was the web server, mail (mail.example.com) was the mail server, ftp (ftp.example.com) was the FTP server, print (print.example.com) was the print server, etc.
These days, everything is run under the web server, making www. redundant and a waste of four characters.
If you want to change the .wordpress.com blog address ie. the URL starting with http:// then you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to do that and the URL you desire must be available. If so, then you can change the URL by using this guide
http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
Be sure to locate the correct page http://en.support.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/dashboard-e1371648470893.pngChanging a URL is a permanent and irreversible act. No changed or deleted blog URLs are recycled here, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/If you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

Sorry about the “Your” that should be “You”, I’m visually challenged and didn’t proofread before clicking submit.
