Can I renew an expired network solutions domain via WP?

  My domain that I registered at Network Solutions expired but I pay for domain mapping at WP. Can I now secure the domain via WP? If so, how and would I still have to pay for domain mapping?

  Hi Jill,

  Once the domain is completely released by your registrar you can register it with us, but please note that usually the domain registration process is about 3 months and within that time it can go up for auction and sold to another buyer.

  If you want to risk losing the domain, you can try it, but I highly recommend keeping your domain at Network Solutions and mapping it to us as you are now.

  Hi Grace – thanks for your reply. If I do end up getting the domain back via WP, would I still have to pay for domain mapping or would that no longer be necessary? (I may not be able to do anything about this year’s charge but would like to know for future reference).
