Can I reorder the posts in a category?

  I have a few different categories on my blog. One of them was written as things were happening in real time, obviously, but now it would be helpful if when you clicked on that page it showed them in chronological order rather than with the newest at the top. Is this possible? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  You can’t re-order posts in a category, but you can add a custom category link to your site’s menu or a widget that will show the posts in chronological order instead:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/show-your-posts-in-chronological-order/

  So, for example, for your category https://thatssorobyn.wordpress.com/category/the-run-up-to-disney/ you’ll change the link to https://thatssorobyn.wordpress.com/category/the-run-up-to-disney/?order=asc, and use that link instead wherever you link to that category.

  Here is a possible option:

  Step 1. You can use create a page with the display-posts shortcode. For your purpose, you will want to use order=ASC to sort the posts chronologically.
