Can I Restrict My Website To U.S. Access Only?

    I’m curious if there is a way to restrict access to my website to residents in the United States only? Is there a setting for this, or perhaps can this be done with a plugin?

    Hi there,

    There’s no setting for this on WordPress.com, no. The only option we offer to restrict who can see your site is to set it to private, so only people you specifically invite can view it.

    I did a quick Google search, and it looks like there are plugins that can do this, for example, https://geotargetingwp.com/geo-blocker.

    Using any plugin on WordPress.com requires our Pro plan:
