Can I retrieve a lost blog?

  I was typing out a new blog and hit something on the keyboard and lost it. Is there any way to get it back?

  Hey there,

  If you compose your blog post via the in-dashboard “New Post” page, your posts should be automatically saved as a draft as you write. If you exit the page, you can simply view your list of posts, and select your draft post to continue.

  If you’re using the “New Post” tool in the WordPress.com menu, then posts are not automatically saved as drafts as they’re written. We’re aware of this shortcoming, and plan to address it in the future.

  If your in-progress post appears in the list as a draft post, perfect! Just edit it, then publish when you’re ready. If the post does not, I’m afraid it’s non-recoverable.
