Can I reuse an e-mail address associated with a deleted account?
-
I made a brand new blog and a new email to associate with that blog. When creating the new blog I used a different e-mail. I think I created another WordPress account by unintentionally logging into the new e-mail address I created. I only wanted one blog so I deleted the account. How long do I have to wait before I could change the e-mail of the blog to the e-mail used to create the now deleted account?
I feel like I made such a boneheaded mistake.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, it happens. :) When a WordPress.com account is deleted, it takes 30 days before the email address is released.
If it’s been less than 30 days since you deleted that account, you can also reply to the email you received from WordPress.com after the deletion and request to reinstate the deleted account. After that, you can change the email address for that deleted account to something else before deleting it.
If it’s been more than 30 days, you’ll have to wait.

Thank you for answering. One question though. Can I reply with anything or does it have to be specific?

I believe it says in the email you received from WordPress.com
Regardless, I just remembered that there’s a guide for that too.

I was able to recover the account, change e-mail address, and delete it again. Thank you again for your assistance. Turns out, the e-mail message has a recovery button that made it simpler.
