Can I save data to the database in WP

    Hi, I want to create my own type of unique job board website. I don’t want to use the WP Job Manager plug-in but want control over what I save to the database and also want control over my search of the database.

    1) Can I save data easily from a form into the database
    2) Can I retrieve the data easily
    3) Can I do it without a plug-in?
    4) If I have to do some JavaScript or PHP coding, then will WP let me do that?
    5) Can I edit the HTML5/CSS3 code if need be?
    6) I have created a site on WP, but it insists on talking about a blog rather than a website. Why does WP give blogs preference.
    7) How do I create a website in the first place, rather than a blog?

    Sorry but you are in the wrong place. These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
