Can I save my photos back onto my computer

  Hello! My external hard drive has just broken and lost all my photographs. Quite a few I have posted on the blog, so I would very much like to save them back onto my computer. How would I go about this? I am a technical numpty… Thank you! Kirsty

  The short answer is that there is no easy way to download all of your images from your media library. You can download them one by one, but there is no automatic “download all”.

  You can export your site, set up WordPress.org “locally” (meaning on your computer rather than on a server), then install a plugin that will download all the images. But that’s a bit more complicated than you may wish to take on.
