I would like to know can I sell hemp seed powder and whether or not I need a payment gateway or merchant account for that?

You will definitely need to have some kind of payment method. It could be cash on delivery which doesn’t need a gateway but I’m sure if you are to sell something you need a way to receive the payments safely.
