Can I sell later the domain I am buying on wordpress ?

  Hi dear happiness engineers,
  I want to purchase a domain.
  Will I be able to sell it later on ?
  Will I be able to sell it to a user outside of WordPress ?

  How ?

  If you buy a custom domain name from WordPress.COM (kool-name.com) for instance – you can sell it to anyone you want – but if you sell it to someone you don’t know personally, you will probably want to use an escrow agency for the transfer to make sure everyone gets what they expect – (you get paid – they get their name)

  The name could stay registered here at WordPress.COM and transferred to another account or it could be transferred to another Registrar outside WordPress.COM.

  Please note auxclass’s correct response above. Once again you are referring a blogger to a wordpress.ORG support thread that is not relevant to wordpress.COM blogs.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
