Can I sell our olive oil on my blog?

  I use wordpress.com to blog about how we produce our own olive oil, and I’d like to start selling the oil via my blog. People are always asking about how they can buy it in the comments.

  I see I can’t use the paypal buttons as wordpress.com strips forms code.

  I’m reluctant to move to wordpress.org as I’m no coder and I don’t want the hassle of maintaining and doing upgrades, etc.

  I’m looking for a simple solution on wordpress.com as I don’t have any idea how much I’d end up selling.

  Any tips on how I can sell on wordpress.com? The forums show people saying we have to ask wordpress staff for permission.

  Please advise.

  I’m afraid e-commerce isn’t possible here at WordPress.com.

  If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on e-commerce if you set up a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
