Can I set featured image in Soundcheck theme and NOT have it appear above post?

Hi. I am using the Soundcheck theme. Every time I post a page the Featured image appears in two places – the thumbnail and immediately above the post. I do NOT want it above the post and I only what the thumbnail. Are there limitations with Soundcheck that prevent me from doing this or is there some special way. I’m a little lost with it right now.
I’d appreciate your help.

It appears that the way this theme works, your featured image is going to show up as the featured image of the post as well as the thumbnail.
