Can I set up my blog to do this?

  I’m considering a blog visible to search engines and all others where multiple authors (maybe hundreds of them) to subscribe via PayPal for a low monthly fee and post articles. Is this allowed, and if so, do I need any premium services?

  Also, what’s the point? Why pay to blog when you can write articles for free?

  Try over at wordpress.org. You find a host, download the software, and can do whatever you want with your blog.

  Ah, so there is an option. Great!

  The point is to bring together experts in one place and then invite readers to hear from all of us in one convenient location.

  So, you’re starting a magazine. There’s no way I know of to make a WP.com site paid subscription-only, and as Lizii points out, it’s probably against the Terms of Service here.
