Can I start without connecting my domain?

    My website is currently done via shopify. I’m looking at moving to WordPress but I want to see how things work first without transferring my domain. Is this possible?as step two is to transfer and I’m not ready to commit without seeing if everything I want in a website is doable here.

    You can get your site set up here before switching your domain over!

    When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com or *.wpstaging.com) that you can use to start building your new site. So when going through the site creation process, choose the “free” domain option.

    Note that you will need the Pro plan as you’ll need to be able to use plugins (like WooCommerce) to build your store.
