Can I still use the domain name if I accidentally deleted my blog?

  I accidentally deleted my blog, but still want the domain name. :( All the info on your site says I can’t use it again, but I aready purchased the .com domain name. Can you manually reset it for me?What are my options?

  Read what’s clearly stated here:
  Deleting a blog is forever, the URL cannot be recycled and reused.

  There are 3 warnings given and also a verification link in an email you must click to delete a blog. That cannot be done by accident.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

  Why don’t you just register any old whatever.wordpress.com URL and apply your custom domain to that?
