Can I subscribe to non wordpress blogs?

    I am wanting to subscribe to other blogs that are not wordpress blogs. It is possible?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    yes, you can subscribe to various blogs (both wordpress.com & wordpress.org, as well as blogspot and others) via RSS and read them all on Google Reader, My Yahoo, etc. It is very convenient. Or you can subscribe via email, if you prefer and the blog offers that option

    Sort of, but not in wordpress. Sign up for an account in something like Google Reader, and look for a link that says RSS feed. (Usually preceded by an orange box). There you will be subscribed to the RSS feed. WordPress.com also has RSS feeds, and with the exception of private blogs, I would recommend you use that to subscribe to posts.
